Why learn French at the Alliance

With over 220 million speakers today on every continent, French is set to become the 4th most widely-spoken language in 2050

In groups, duos or trios, the Alliance Française de Port Elizabeth offers French as a foreign language lessons to children and teenagers from the age of 5. After school or during the weekend, these language courses allow them to improve their written and oral skills.

Learning a new language can be a great challenge and for that we do everything we can to make it a pleasure. In order to maintain the attention of even the youngest, our French classes emphasize oral expression even if our teachers also offer exercises in reading, writing, comprehension and interaction.

Organized
Organized according to the age of the students, which allows excellent consideration of their needs and interests
Levels
Divided by levels A1.1, A1, A2.1, A2, etc
Skill levels
Focused on the mastery of 4 skills: oral expression and comprehension, written expression and comprehension
Fun
Fun and interactive and allow you to take the DELF Prim and DELF Junior exams

Express yourself
Study French grammar, vocabulary and the tools necessary to express oneself in all circumstances

Introducing your family, learning to count, talking about your personal tastes, expressing your emotions, discussing your routines and many other skills and competencies can be acquired through these courses.

CATCH UP COURSES AND CERTIFICATES

Classes canceled (by teachers)
Classes canceled by teachers (illness, personal impediment, etc.) and not replaced by the administration during the session will be made up for at the end of the session
Certification
A certificate will be issued at the end of the session to all students who have completed at least 70% of the course
Cannot follow lessons
If you cannot follow a lesson (illness, personal impediment, etc.), you must notify the administration 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time to be reimbursed
